Tree of Life

The Tree of Life has always stood as a symbol of the qualities of mankind. All Ancient religions have it as a sacred symbol of their belief of the one God. The Master Jesus also uses most of his teachings using parts of the tree. I got this story via e-mail Toddy and I thought I'd share it with you. Trees are living forms whose molecules and elements are from the same source as ours. In Cleve Baxter's book he writes of the conscious intelligence in plants.


I think we should all get a tree like this!

I hired a plumber to help me restore an old farmhouse, and after he had just finished a rough first day on the job: a flat tire made him lose an hour of work, his electric drill quit and his ancient one ton truck refused to start. While I drove him home, he sat in stony silence. On arriving, he invited me in to meet his family. As we walked toward the front door, he paused briefly at a small tree, touching the tips of the branches with both hands. When opening the door he underwent an amazing transformation.. His face was wreathed in smiles and he hugged his two small children and gave his wife a kiss.Afterward he walked me to the car. We
passed the tree and my curiosity got the better of me. I asked him about what I had seen him do earlier. Oh, that's my trouble tree," he replied "I know I can't help having troubles on the job, but one thing's for sure, those troubles don't belong in the house with my wife and the children... So I just hang them up on the tree every night when I come home and ask God to take care of them. Then in the morning I pick them up again." "Funny thing is," he smiled," when I

Boxed In

Many years ago I recall Jose Silva talking about a box that's inside our minds. This tiny box contained within it a child. What struck me as peculiar was the according to Jose this box had no windows or light souse and it was more or less perpetually dark inside. So although this child could not see out it could hear what was going on outside its little box. There was a door that was heavily guarded by a person dressed in armor and carried a spear as his weapon.
The child on occasion would call out to the guard to inquire what was all that chatter and what were happening out there. The guard, in response to the inquiry would only say to the child not to listen to the chatter that He and only He would tell it what it needed to know.
In this story we are that child and the guard is our Ego who guards the door to our other side, our right brain hemisphere. Normally at conscious levels of functioning we think mostly with our left brain hemisphere and our right brain hemisphere only becomes active during our sleep state. Jose taught us that we are capable of using this sleep state with active awareness.
It is during this sleep state that our minds are most creative; where we dream and get information from above. Prophets, Kings and Presidents all report that it was during such a state that inspiration would visit them and give them solutions to solve the problems at hand. It’s during the dream state that our inner conscious is most active, creative and instructional where problem solving is accomplished when properly trained.
So, nights is when our body goes through three stages of rebirth, destruction, dissolution, reparation and instruction. In other words it goes through an overhaul in preparation to meet the new dawn. Its the instruction phase we want to look at more closely for it is here that we stepout of the box amd into the light.
Up to now the child within us has in effect been mesmerized into thinking that the world presented to it by ego in the only world that exists and it wonders aimlessly through life thinking that this is all there is. The child’s ego being influenced and trained by well meaning parents and well intentioned family members, neighbors and teachers at various stages of its development never had a chance to make known to the world its true nature, talents and abilities? The child never realizing that there is a better way once it learns how to step out of the box; to not heed the ego that has had it trapped into accepting life seen through the glass darkly.
With the awakening of the right brain hemisphere a new and wonderful perspective of life is reveled and with new ways of thinking and accomplishing things is open to it.

Jose's 93rd BirthdayA very important day has past us by. Its a day I’ve been celebrating since my first class back in August 1974.
August is also my birth month and as a "coincedence", most of the significant events in my life had their start on this month.
I’m very thankful for all Jose has done for all of us graduates. I in particular owe him most of my adult life’s accomplishments following the fist class on that first summer weekend in Aug. ’74.
I finished my Associate of Applied Science, AAS, degree in Automotive Technologyu, two years later I earned a B.S. in Industrial Tecnnology from Esat Texas U. with honors in 1976, then in 1977, a M.Ed and a U.S. Air Force/Air National Guard commission. ater that fall I went to Chanute AFB in Illinois to become an Aircraft Maintenance Officer for six months.
He taught me perseverance, how to stick with it during many, many self induced adversities, so much that Tenacity became my middle name.
Yes I owe all of my successes to “The Chief” I also owe him the knoledge on how to overcoming all my failures by a simple method my sister calls “flipping”. If I don’t like what comes my way I just flip it to make it something more palatable.
Happy Birthday CHIEF! May God continue giving you His grace to keep helping us as we struggle in the valley of the shadow of death we know as Earth.
